A Lenten Study with Rev. Phoenix
Are we paying attention to the holy ground beneath our feet?
Where do we see burning bushes in our world today,
and what are they calling us to do?
A Lenten Study with Rev. Phoenix
Sundays @ 6:00pm Via Zoom
Starting February 10th 2027
running until March 21st 2027
For this study, we are using the book Hard and Holy Work: A Lenten Journey through the Book of Exodus
by Author(s): Mary Alice Birdwhistell and Tyler Mayfield: https://www.wjkbooks.com/bookproduct/066426817x-hard-and-holy-work/
Lent is a period of self-reflection and action, and this book guides readers through a distinctive Lenten journey, urging them to view the marginalized through God’s eyes, reflect on how privilege and uncertainties can cloud our spiritual sight, and cultivate endurance in justice work with reliance on God’s provision.
